Why Give Now?
Across Australia, young women and gender-diverse young people - particularly those from First Nations backgrounds, culturally, linguistically and racially diverse communities, disabled youth, and LGBTQIA+ communities - remain severely underrepresented in formal politics, policy, and public leadership.
While women and gender-diverse people make up over half the population and young people drive many of our biggest social movements, leadership positions across government, media, and civil society still fail to reflect the diversity of our country.
We cannot afford to wait for change to happen organically. Raise Our Voice Australia is establishing the foundation required to transform our institutions:

Transforming Political & Policy Leadership
Despite making up a significant portion of our population, diverse young voices are routinely left out of decision-making spaces. When key policies - on climate, economic security, health, and justice - are designed without diverse perspectives, the policies fail the communities who need them most.
Our programs are a direct response to this gap. Through our initiatives, we have trained hundreds of young women and gender-diverse people to step confidently into political and public policy spaces, ensuring lived experience shapes the future of Australian legislation.
