Raise Our Voice Australia is committed to promoting and protecting the best interests of children involved in its programs. All children, regardless of their gender, race, religious beliefs, age, disability, sexual orientation, or family or social background, have equal rights to protection from harm.
Raise Our Voice Australia has zero tolerance for child harm. Everyone representative of Raise Our Voice Australia is responsible for the care and protection of the children within our care, reporting information about suspected child harm in accordance with the law and this policy, and taking reasonable precautions to prevent the harm to a child by an individual associated with the organisation while the child is under the care, supervision or authority of the organisation.
Child protection is a shared responsibility between all representatives of Raise Our Voice Australia community.
Raise Our Voice Australia supports and respects all children and representatives. We are committed to the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and those from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and to supporting children living with a disability.
