Ashleigh Streeter-Jones
Founder & CEO
Described by Forbes Magazine as a “youthful visionary”, Ashleigh has worked in youth advocacy and campaigns for 10 years. ACT Woman of the Year 2018 and a Forbes 30 Under 30 listee, Ashleigh has been recognised as an Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence, was a recipient of the Global Citizen Youth Leader award, and was a Victorian Young Australian of the Year finalist in 2024.
Ashleigh has advocated for young people, gender equality and young women and gender diverse people in politics and the public sector at home and abroad, having presented on the topic to both domestic and global organisations including the World Economic Forum and World YMCA. Ashleigh has attended the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations, and in 2023, she was selected as one of 50 young leaders to attend the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting at Davos.
In 2022 she joined former Prime Minister Julia Gillard on her Not Now Not Ever tour, and hosted an event with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Ashleigh is an experienced policy practitioner, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) (Politics/ IR) from Monash University and a Masters in Diplomacy from the ANU.
Lauren Pollock
Deputy CEO
Lauren is a dynamic communicator with a knack for storytelling and stakeholder engagement. She is dedicated to amplifying the voices of young people, especially women and gender-diverse individuals, in policy and social change.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Lauren found her calling among creatives and chatterboxes. She thrives on driving strategic direction and forging partnerships that make a real difference.In her day job, Lauren curates content for the WhyNot Platform and leads impactful projects for the Y.
In her spare time, she champions women's achievements with Women in Technology through advocacy, professional development, and mentoring. She also serves on the Board of Play Therapy Practitioners Association, ensuring children have a space to share their voices.
Lauren's work is fuelled by her passion for innovation, inclusivity, and positive social change.
Anisha Gupta
Head of Impact Assessment
As a diversity and equality advocate, Anisha is dedicated to creating a campaign that amplifies the voices of young people.
After graduating from a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and Bachelor of Arts (International Relations), Anisha currently works in strategy consulting where she pursues her passion for problem solving. Anisha’s academic excellence and community impact was recognised by the Australian Government when she was awarded the New Colombo Scholarship which allowed her to travel for study and work to Singapore and India. Her previous volunteering and leadership experiences include the Centre for Multicultural Youth, UN Youth Australia, Australian Institute of International Affairs, She’s A Crowd, interning at the Victorian Parliament and various other involvements with student societies.

Emmaline Monteith
Co-Head of Community
Emmaline Monteith (she/her) is passionate about gender equality and social justice, and she currently serves as Co-Head of Community at Raise Our Voice Australia. She is also a PhD candidate in Gender Studies at the Australian National University (ANU), where her research focuses on leveraging online testimonies about sexual assault and sex as powerful tools for social change.In addition to her doctoral studies, Emmaline works as a Research Assistant and Intern Coordinator at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership (GIWL) at ANU. Currently, she is investigating gendered tech-based abuse as part of the eSafety Commission's Preventing Tech-based Abuse of Women Grants Program. Previously, Emmaline was a Research Assistant at Curtin University, where she contributed to a project examining the factors influencing women's willingness to engage with news media interviews.These academic and professional experiences have equipped her with an understanding of various research methodologies and evidence-based strategies for advancing gender equality.
Alice Jackson
Co-Head of Community
Alice Jackson (they/them) is an undergraduate student currently undertaking a double degree at Monash University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and Arts majoring in Political Governance and International Relations respectively.With a passion for a gendered perspective on Politics and International Relations, Alice came into their role as Co-Head of Community alongside Emmaline after completing the Raise Our Voice training in 2021. From there they have been able to expand on their passion for community building and political engagement by helping create (and sometimes facilitate) panels and social events.When they’re not juggling essays, Alice is passionate about analysing extremism from a feminist perspective and working towards getting into a Master’s degree. These passions, interest and experience has them with a keen excitement, hope and passion to help bring more young, gender diverse people into the realm of Politics and Policy and help others become educated, interested and excited about the power we all have to create change.

Arleen Wilcox
Head of Training
Arleen is a communications professional with a passion for diversity and inclusion, and gender equity. She believes in the value of including young voices in all spheres of life but particularly when it comes to policy and politics that directly impact their futures.She has worked in diplomatic missions and Australian local government, as well as with organisations like United Nations Youth NSW, the International Federation of Journalists Asia-Pacific, Multicultural Youth Affairs Network and the Red Cross.
As a former ROVA training participant and facilitator, she is excited to step up as a Head of Training this year to strengthen the organisation's vision and reach.
Kira Todd
Facilitator
Kira is studying a Masters of International Relations at the University of Melbourne and is broadly interested in policy areas which invite opportunity to create a more equitable, sustainable and just society. Having participated in youth activism initiatives including Victorian Youth Parliament and Local and Vocal, she believes in the value of educating young people about politics and empowering them to be informed citizens and advocates of change.
Kira volunteers with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and has contributed to digital campaign analysis, as well as organising events and fundraisers. She currently works in a public-facing communications role with Rail Projects Victoria.
Janice Rodrigues
Deputy Head of Training
Janice is a racial and gender justice advocate. She is working as a Youth Specialist at the Western Sydney MRC, supporting newly arrived refugees and migrants. Janice is passionate about tackling the inequalities through community-driven approaches, and amplifying lived experience of political challenges.
Janice is the Democracy in Colour NSW state leader, where she has used her community organising skills and mobilising people of colour. She was part of Plan International's Youth Activist Series in 2022, Global Youth Reference Group in 2023, and facilitated the Learn2Lead pilot program with Tennis Australia. Janice has represented Western Sydney on the Greater Cities Commission Youth Panel and contributed to the Women's Safety Charter in NSW.
She has a Bachelor of Arts (Politics/ International Relations) from USyd.
Amber Anderson
Head of Training Content
Amber is a foreign policy practitioner with the Department of Defence and is passionate about including youth in decision making.
She holds a Bachelor of Philosophy from UWA, and completed her Honours dissertation in education policy, which examined young people’s perceptions of the teaching profession.
Amber is an advocate for improving policy processes, especially in education. She has had many opportunities to do just that through her work with multiple education start-ups, as a delegate to the Y20 and as a UNICEF Ambassador. Amber also undertakes research work, exploring how to better attract youth to careers in education.
Amber is excited to develop ROVA’s educational programs and empower more young people in policy processes.

Grace Phelps
Co-Head of Campaign
Having worked in various social policy roles across Victorian and NSW state government departments, Grace is a passionate social, public and economic policy advocate. Grace is dedicated to improving systemic and structural barriers through policy reform.
After completing a Bachelor of Laws, Grace commenced working within state government, holding roles across Aboriginal justice reform, Victoria's COVID-19 roadmap, humanitarian settlement and regional development.
Grace is committed to improving our current system of government to ensure it is representative, equitable and efficient. Currently studying a Masters of Social Change and Development, Grace believes that through amplifying the voices of young women and gender diverse people, real and sustainable change can be achieved.
Jess Travers-Wolf
Co-Head of Political Engagement
Jess is a passionate advocate when it comes to amplifying the voices of young people. She has worked across a number of policy areas but has a particular passion for raising awareness around intergenerational climate justice and advocating for the rights of young people of all identities.
She is currently working towards a double Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Development Studies at The Australian National University. While completing her degree Jess is also working with the Australian Federal Government to provide policy and campaign direction to ensure the health and wellbeing of young people is protected in the face of climate change.
Stella Thomson
Head of Social Media
Stella is passionate about creating strong, clear and fun content that helps remove barriers in politics and policy. She is a Bachelor of Communication graduate from RMIT, and currently works as a Media and Communication Coordinator for a Member of Parliament, in Victoria.
Stella previously co-hosted and produced the SYN x Victorian Parliament’s ‘Unpack Parliament’ podcast series and has volunteered at She’s A Crowd as a Media and Communications Officer.
Jenna Schroeder
Head of School Engagement
Jenna is a marketing and communications professional with over 15 years of experience in diverse sectors including mental health, tourism, education, technology, and the pet industry. Following her candidacy in the 2024 Queensland local government elections, Jenna's passion for political engagement, particularly among young people, has strengthened. She is committed to empowering young people to become active participants in shaping their communities and the political landscape.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Jenna is deeply involved in her community. She serves on the board of the Animal Welfare League QLD, holds the position of Secretary on her local school's P&C, and volunteers with various community groups. She also manages Australia's largest dog market event, Paws at the Park, which has raised over $75,000 in support of animal welfare.
Ridmi Dolamulla
Co-Head of Campaign
Ridmi is an activist and gender equality advocate. She has held leadership positions at SEED Monash and Change x Unzipped. She has also co-produced a podcast with Monash University's Respectful Communities and works as a Monash Connect Officer at the University.
Ridmi has a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) and postgraduate studies in Family Violence Prevention. She has completed a quantitative analysis on women's use of contraception in primary care, and research on international student experience of family violence in Australia.
Ridmi volunteers with Radio Lollipop at Monash Children’s Hospital, and works with start ups & social business such as Alex Makes Meals.
Alana Faust
Child Safeguarder
Alana (she/her) is the Child Safeguarder at ROVA. With a passion for youth engagement and community development, Alana has led youth wellbeing and leadership programs in Australia and overseas for over a decade. Alana is committed to creating child safe spaces that ensure children and young people can have a meaningful say in decisions that affect them.
She has the privilege of spending her days as a Strategic Programs Manager working out how the Thriving Communities Partnership (TCP) can shape stronger systems for people experiencing financial vulnerability in Australia.
Molly Fleming
Head of Partnerships
Molly is a graduate of the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Politics and International Relations and French, with concurrent diplomas in Arabic and Music. She currently works in the education sector, with volunteering experience at the Young Diplomats’ Society and UN Youth Australia, amongst others.
Through her extensive experience working with young people, she developed a passion for empowering youth to be critical and future-fit thinkers. As Head of Partnerships, she looks forward to developing impactful relationships with like-minded groups and individuals who see diverse political representation and women in leadership as key to societal progress and prosperity.
Sinem Filipovski
Deputy Head of Community
Sinem is a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) graduate from RMIT. During her studies Sinem spent her time gaining volunteer experience at NGOs and learning Spanish. Her foundation of the Spanish language skills led her to work as a Language and Culture Assistant in Madrid, Spain following the completion of her degree.
Upon her return to Australia she began work as an Engagement Coordinator in the remote community of Jilkminggan in the Northern Territory. With grassroots efforts in community development and championing issues surrounding gender equality and diversity, climate change and Indigenous Affairs, Sinem is committed to advocacy in her professional endeavours.
With aspirations to amplify the voices of young women and gender diverse people, the ROViP campaign encapsulates the type of work that Sinem is impassioned to contribute to.
Angela Paulson
Co-Head of Political Engagement
My name is Angela, and I’m a second year law student at the Australian National University. She was raised in QLD, and now live in Canberra for university.
Angela is passionate about law reform and politics, and particularly interested in human rights, international law and domestic policy.
In her spare time, Angela loves to travel, read, and watch lots of movies. She is always looking for show and book recommendations, and to cross things off her bucketlist.
Pranjali Sehgal
Head of Media
Pranjali is a journalist, SBS News video presenter and youth and gender equality advocate passionate. She uses her platforms to drive conversations for change and challenge systemic barriers, especially those faced by young people with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
A committed advocate against gender-based violence, Pranjali has worked across newsrooms, government bodies and not-for-profits supporting organisations to speak with young people, not at them. She has reported on ABC News, been a Media Advisor for the Victorian Government across prevention of family violence, women’s affairs, child protection and youth portfolios, and is a Plan International Australia Youth activist and a speaker for the Centre of Multicultural Youth.
Pranjali is a proud South Asian woman who lives and works on the lands of the Wurundjeri people in Naarm/Melbourne.
Neerja Singh
Deputy Head of Schools
Neerja is a first-year student at the University of Melbourne. She is passionate about improving representation in politics and promoting civic involvement. Neerja believes that youth perspectives and experiences are crucial in shaping policies and decisions that affect their futures. She's dedicated to creating environments where every voice is heard and valued, focusing on uplifting young voices, especially those of women, people of colour, and gender-diverse individuals.
She is a member of the Victorian Youth Congress and is deeply involved in her university and local community. She volunteers and works with her local councils, has helped to create youth forums and contributed to programs, council operational strategies, and policy development. She is active in Western Health and Headspace and volunteers in her local MP’s office.

Madison is a recognised leader in youth empowerment, community building, and driving positive impact through innovation. Over the past decade, she has worked with more than 10,000 leaders across government, non-profit, and private sectors to build values-driven teams and trusted communities.
In her roles at GiveBack, Teamgage, and the Global Shapers Community, Madison has led initiatives in employee engagement, people and culture, and building thriving in-person and virtual communities. Her work seamlessly integrates social impact into workplace culture, creating lasting change for organisations and their people.
In 2024, Madison was selected as one of 50 young leaders to attend the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, recognising her contributions to global leadership and community development. With a background in psychology and human resources, she combines strategic insight with a deep understanding of human behaviour to create high-performing, purpose-driven teams.

Hannah is a big advocate for young people understanding politics and backing themselves within the Australian political system.
She is a Deakin graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Politics and a Diploma of Indonesian. Her award-winning Honours thesis explored the possibilities for youth Australians to make political change.She currently lives in Hobart and works for the federal government in the Tasmanian Jobs and Skills team. Prior to this, she completed the Tasmanian Government Graduate Program as a Policy Officer within the Strategic Projects and Skills teams.

Hollie is a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) Graduate and Law Student from NewcastleHollie (she/her) is a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) Graduate living in Newcastle, NSW and grew up in a small town on the NSW Mid-North coast. She is a proud member of the queer community, feminist, community volunteer and survivor-advocate who strives to use her privilege to support and uplift the voices of others less fortunate, especially women and non-binary people living in rural and remote communities.
Hollie works as a Digital Communications and Community Coordinator at Rural Doctors Network and alongside ROVA, she spends her free time volunteering with Country to Canberra and The Survivor Hub.
Claudia Walter

Claudia is a recent Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Languages graduate from the University of Melbourne. She has worked in Nanjing, studied in Munich and is soon to move to Jabiru for a remote work placement.
As a result of these varied cultural experiences, Claudia is passionate about creating content that is rich in diversity and tells the stories of people from all walks of life. Her goal is to empower young women and non-binary people in Australia by equipping them with the information they need to be politically engaged seekers of positive action.
