Raise Our Voice in Parliament Head of Marketing
Raise Our Voice Australia is a non-partisan social enterprise mobilising young women and gender diverse people to transform policy and politics.
The Raise Our Voice in Parliament Head of Marketing role is responsible for supporting the Head of Social Media and Head of Community Engagement to circulate and elevate the campaign to the community and potential speech submitters.
We particularly welcome applications from people from culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people who identify as First Nations or LGBTQIA+, people from migrant/ refugee backgrounds, and people with a disability.
All applicants are required to be over 18, and acquire and maintain an active Working With Vulnerable Persons check (or state equivalent)
Key tasks include:
Developing marketing materials for the campaign, including for social media, newsletters and community groups
Leading outreach to community groups to share the materials
Working with the team to evaluate and revise marketing strategies where needed
What we are looking for:
Passionate about gender equity and/ or public decision making
Excellent relationship building and management skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience running marketing campaigns
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience working with young people desirable

Time commitment: 5 hours a week | voluntary
